Cydnie Thompson - BA/CELTA: English native speaking business English trainer

Who I am, where I am from and what I believe

I was born in London in 1975 and am of Indian, south American (Guyanese), Nigerian and Polish descent. I am completely inspired by the multi-faceted nature of human beings and their capacity to surprise: this is why I love my job – it’s an honour to watch people grow right before my eyes.

I am a dynamic, progressive business English communication developer. (Please feel free to visit Aktiv-8 Business English club)

Originally, I started my career working for 6 years in the British media industry (The Guardian, The Observer, Granada TV, Ogilvy and Mather). After realizing I needed to be involved in activities which helped people develop in some way, I went to the University of London to study English Literature (BA) and then to the University of Cambridge (CELTA) and started teaching English in Germany. I gradually moved into teaching business English and have been working in this field for the last 7 years.

I currently design workshops and courses and implement English learning strategies for companies and individuals in England, Germany and Palma De Mallorca.

My mission is to support you in finding words which:

* touch others and call them to positive action.

* create new possibilities and inspiration for who ever hears them.

* support you in achieving your goals and helping others to do the same.

* aid you in ‘moving mountains’ and overcoming seemingly
insurmountable obstacles.

* allow you to be what you were born to be.

Ich verspreche dass mein Englisch viel mehr perfekt ist als mein Deutsch

Ich fing meine Karriere an, mit 6 Jahren in der britischen Mediaindustrie (The Guardian and The Observer Zeitungen, Granada TV, Ogilvy und Mather). Nach dem Verständnis dass ich Leuten helfen musste sich irgendwie zu entwickeln, ging ich zur Universität Londons, um englische Literatur (BA) und dann zur Universität des Cambridges (CELTA) zu studieren, und fing als Englisch trainer in Deutschland an. Ich zog allmählich ins Geschäftsenglische um und habe in diesem Feld seit den letzten 7 Jahren gearbeitet.

Ich entwerfe Workshops und Kurse und führe englische Lernstrategien für Firmen und Personen in England, Deutschland und Palma De Mallorca durch.

Meine Mission ist, Ihnen zu unterstützen im Wörtern finden die:

* andere berühren und nennen sie zur positiven Handlung.

* neue Möglichkeiten und Inspiration dafür schaffen, wer sie jemals hört.
